Greer Grashaw is a friendly, hard-working, and dedicated WDC employee.

Before WDC, Greer worked in the automotive industry, but made his transition to home appliances just four years ago, and two years ago, he started working in our Builders Division. The Builders Division of WDC is a special department that provides appliances to contractors and developers who need multiple kitchens outfitted at once. The Builders Division projects can be from five houses to a high-rise apartment complex, to a large development of 300-400 homes. The department doesn’t work on anything commercial, but instead specializes in residential projects – Single Family, Multi- family, and Custom Homes.  This unique division has its own trucks and crew to deliver and install appliances for their specific projects.  The division provides all the kitchen appliances needed, with top brand name packages that include refrigerators, ranges, wall ovens, and dishwashers, as well as outfitting laundry facilities with the many washer and dryer brands that WDC carries.

“As a field supervisor, I look over future and present job sites along with scheduling, routing, installation, and ad hoc projects.”

He remarked, “The best part of my job is building relationships with supervisors and employees. Also, the satisfaction of making a difference in someone’s life when they finally get their dream kitchen. That makes my heart happy.”

Greer has faced some adversities over the years but has fortunately overcome them. “I felt proud of myself when I went back to work after a life-changing injury on the job. The injury changed my life in more ways than one and I almost didn’t return to work. But I fought past my fears and I’m happy to be where I am today because my job at WDC is something I truly enjoy doing.”

Greer has high hopes for the future, for himself, and WDC. Greer says, “Currently, we have roughly 20-30 projects that the Builders Division is working on. My goal is to continue providing the best service possible for our clients, building upon my knowledge and expertise, and continuing to work hard for WDC. I also want to attain my own contractor’s license. This will help in my professional life with WDC.”

Greer anticipates a wonderful 2023. “We are growing, so hopefully WDC will have even more national accounts in the years ahead. Covid was really trying, but it did show us how much we could accomplish when we work together.” Greer went on to mention what’s dear to his heart, “None of this would be possible without the fabulous Builders Division crew that we have. The dedication that I see on a daily basis is what any company would want from their employees, and I am thankful for each and every one of them.”
