KEEPING THE FAMILY BUSINESS GOING
Danielle Oldenkamp’s parents, Dean and Michelle started Kitchen Etc. over 38 years ago. She started working with the company at the age of 16, filing paperwork, showing clients around the showroom, and answering phone call. Fast forward 8 years later and Danielle manages and designs anywhere from 16-24 jobs at a time and is slowly transitioning to taking the company under her belt.
Danielle was introduced to WDC Kitchen & Bath Center by her parents, who have had a close relationship with WDC for over 30 years. They began working with the owners of WDC back in their early 30’s.
Danielle’s favorite part of working with WDC has been working alongside the sales representatives. “They have made my customers feel at home and anytime I have an issue, they are right there to help” Danielle points out that she loves to work with Marty specifically. “He has always been a tremendous help and goes above and beyond to make things easy for myself and my clients”
Danielle’s specialty is picking out textile designs for the perfect space for new projects. Along with designing, she loves project management. She talks about always being thorough and organized and how that is a huge asset in remodeling.

Some of Danielle’s favorite aspects of being a designer are working with customers. She is excited to give customers the dream remodel that they have been wanting for years. “I love seeing the recreation that was once a drab space into a fabulous new space” She loves mixing materials like stainless and blacks or mixing natural woods to create bold fixtures and hardware.
Danielle wants to let future clients know that her team at Kitchen Etc. truly does care for every remodel that they work on. They have the customer’s best intention in each of the remodels to strive for perfection.
““At Kitchen Etc., we work as a team and steer far away from being the ‘sales’ type of company and instead steer to build relationships with our clients to make each remodel more comfortable””
